SGV Forward BRT project

Strongly opposed the BRT project, alleging the Kimley-Horn report uses misleading baselines, that the claimed E-line connection is false, that the project bypasses Caltrans review, and that withholding bus shelters violates Title VI.

Spoke in favor of the project, noting Rosemead and South El Monte already approved it, that Line 70 is always packed, and that peak-hour lane drops connecting to the El Monte station make sense.

Opposed the BRT lane drops as adding congestion for residents and riders, and defended the city's Highland Elementary Flock meeting against what he said were misstatements by the prior speaker.
